Skills Required:
Web Artist:
- Intermediate to Advanced Level of Macromedia FLASH, DREAMWEAVER;
- Intermediate to Advanced Level of ADOBE PHOTOSHOP;
Internet Engineer:
- Intermediate to Advanced Level ASP and PHP web
programming;
- Intermediate to Advanced Level C, C++, MySQL programming,
Java programming languages;
- Intermediate to Advanced Level HTML, JavaScript, ActionScripting skills;
and
- Basic knowledge in XML, CSS and other internet networks.
Language Preferred:
- Fluent in writing and speaking English and Bahasa Malaysia languages;
- Optional advantage for Mandarin language
Education Criteria:
Advanced Diploma/Degree of Ceritifications in :
- Interactive/multimedia technology or design/animation
- Computer Science
- Graphic Design/illustration
Work Experience:
Fresh Graduate or 1-2 Years of industry experience.
Personality Trait:
An interest in 3D geometry is valuable, and an understanding of layout,
design and graphics is also important, along with endless enthusiasm and
the ability to work effectively in a small project team. A combination
of good communication skills, logical approach to problem-solving, technical
aptitude, and ability to manage a complex range of tasks to meet deadlines
will be expected. Applicant with both technical and creative skills are
favorable. Interactive design skills, such as user and task analysis and
interface design and evaluation, and programming skills, such as authoring,
engineering and quality testing, are of particular importance.
Job Description:
A multimedia programmer gives a multimedia product its functionality by
writing computer programs that draw together multimedia features such
as text, sound, graphics, digital/analogue photographs, 2D/3D modeling,
animation, video, information and virtual reality, according to a designer's
specification. Multimedia products work on particular "platforms",
such as the internet, interactive television, CD-roms, information kiosks,
DVDs and Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) mobile phones. This role
demands a combination of both creative and technical skills. |
